I started with a cheapo android phone which was great but small. I went out and got one of the samsung galaxy tablets, which was on the recommended list but it was awful, constantly losing video feed or constantly Jerky.
I then went out and bought an ipad mini and this works a treat, no problems all.
I only use the ipad for the drone and nothing else.

Thanks for the positive review of the apple pad mini, i am buy a apple mini 5?

I already had an iPad Pro 12.9. Big, yes. But so great to have the large screen for these old eyes. I found my mount from Mavmount and I find it very comfortable along with the lanyard with my MA2 remote. It also can be mounted on a tripod.

I use an iPad Mini 2 and a 2016 Amazon Fire HD8. Never had a problem with either one other than the Fire has to use and older version of Go4. Newer versions crash on opening.
