This was my followup to a deleted thread:
OP:
Mavic Pro and Android phone with all software up to date. I calibrated the IMU and compass before the flight.
I created my first mission in Litchi and did my first flight yesterday.... and had the drone fly away and crash into a tree at the end.
My finish action was set to RTH. The flight went well, it hit all the waypoints and did what I expected. After the last waypoint it returned to the launch point and started landing, then suddenly flew away in reverse. I had my finger on the Sport button and managed to flip it and hit "up" and nearly cleared the tree - just too late.
I think I will set my Finish Action to None from now on and land manually.
Ok so what the **** happened?
My response:
It could possibly be an error in the way you programmed your mission. I have had that happen only to realize that I had it set to return to WP1 instead of home. When it finished the mission, instead of landing, it jetted back to WP1 and terrified me. This was almost 3 years ago. Since then I check and double check the altitudes and waypoints on my missions before pressing the play button.
