It can do a lot of the things you do with DJI Go4.
It can do some extra things that DJI Go 4 doesn't.
DJI Go 4 can do some things that Litchi doesn't.

DJI Go 4 is a better general purpose flying/photography app.

It depends on what you bought it for. For Waypoint missions, it cant be beat.

Both are good apps for different reasons. As Thunderdrones said, for waypoint flights, Litchi is at the top right now ..... and well worth the price.

I have a CrystalSky monitor so I am working with Android. I downloaded the Litchi app off Amazon and it coexists with DJI Go 4 app on my monitor. I use Litchi for preplanned flights and the DJI app for user controlled. Just make sure you know how to force stop these apps because if they are both running at the same time you will have connection issues with your RC and drone.

And remember, if apps crash and you can see the drone, the drone can be landed with the remote without the app. I've been there a few times, especially with the spark's short flight times, not so much with the mavic series. Also, checkout, Virtual Litchi, its free and awesome.
