Litchi has more "Minor Signal Errors"?

Hi,

just discovered by looking through all my airdata logs, that when flying with Litchi (1.18) I always got some "minor signal errors". Nothing to worry about according to the Airdata color scheme (between 2 to 6), all green... but when comparing this to flights done with DJI Go (4.1.3), most of the time I got value 0 for the whole flight (still cannot decide if I should fly with Litchi or DJI Go).

First I thought it may be coincident, but after reviewing more logs, I always got the same results: minor signal errors when flying with litchi, value 0 to max 1 when flying with DJI Go.

Does anybody encounter the same in his logs?

Stefan

very strange, i have read that both apps use the same info so they both should be pretty much the same as in signal, if anything i would think litchi would be a bit better as its less bloated and doing less in the background, i use both almost all the time depending on the panorama i want, i will make note of signal stregth from both though

Is there a reason why you’re using version 1.18? I am currently using the most current version on my iOS devices and 3.14 on my Epson goggles. Both apps reports are consistent with DJIGo 4 logs.

ahhh yes i didnt notice that, thats crazy old, on android they are at 4.4.2 so thats wayyyyyy outdated haha

I‘m running Mavic Pro Firmware .900 - is the latest Litchi version compatible with that old firmware? Coming from Parrot Bebop where every new firmware introduced new problems, I adhere to the old saying „never touch a running system“ - and with Firmware.900 on the Mavic I never had an issue!

on android its very easy to install the newest version and if it doesnt work out uninstall it and put yur old one back,

Basically I can do the same thing with ios: I am using iMazing for backup and restore of apps of my iPhone. I just didn't upgrade as I read somewhere of issues with latest litchi version (timeframe around DEC 2017 / JAN 2018) and don't want to risk loosing my bird.

So is the latest litchi version running flawless again?

i am not on the newest on android but it seems to be so far so good, and if it wasnt i would simply install the older apk version i have,
