Litchi left a gap.

So tried out portrait orientation today and out of coincidence (perhaps), there is a gap. I haven't tried to manually key the images so maybe it's just an Autopano software issue Still, the auto detection hasn't failed be until today.

I'm wondering if portrait mode needs to have more stability than landscape -- which makes sense. I did a Hangar 360 which captured ok. It was a bit windy though, but not enough to trigger the high wind warning.

If you are shooting your panoramas with the Litchi pano mode, you might want to consider putting your camera into portrait mode. This will give you a better row height, you will need fewer rows, and the panoramas will blend better. You will need to shoot more images per row. You can tweak Litchi to find the best number.
