Litchi now supports Mavic Mini

Right. With that in mind I am quite sure now the Litchi developers will implement a software solution for waypoint handling based on virtual stick commands. Now this effort will not only cover the discontinued Mini 1 but also two more recent models.

The latest SDK which supports the MA2 doesn’t natively provide it with a waypoint capability. With that in mind, it’s highly unlikely that they will be natively supported for the Mini 2 - why would they add features to the Mini 2 which are not available for a more expensive drone?

It's almost like someone at a DJI management meeting said, "Hey, guys, this Mavic Air 2 is going to be SOOO AWESOME! ... We gotta leave something out!" And then, someone said, "Well, we've sold a lot of Minis without waypoints..." Someone else asked, "Really?" "Yep!" "Okay, done."

Yes, Litchi has an AEB photo mode that works with the Mini. Dronelink does AEB, too, but by using a "component" that you can construct yourself as a list of camera commands, or you can download a generic implementation from a public repository. There's also a version that does AEB on 360-degree panoramas.
