I was trying to set up my Air2S to Live Stream to my YouTube channel today, but frustratingly, I just couldn't get it to work :(
I watched all the Youtube help videos I could find, but on those it just works... on mine it doesn't :(

I am using an iPhone 13 Pro, and have a good string 5G network signal. I've put in all the correct settings etc, but it just drops out of the Live streaming after about 20 seconds with a "starting livestream failed...." error.

The weird thing is that when I got home, I tested it while connected to my home network and it did work, just won't work when connected to my mobile network.
Surely that's not right? It can't be limited to only stream when at home or on a wifi network.. can it?

If it helps, I'm on the Three mobile phone network in the UK, and as a I say, it's a nice strong 5G signal (that's actually very fast where I am).

Does anyone have any ideas please?

Try using Restream as an intermediary. Very forgiving…

Good video on livestreaming DJI drones on Instagram here. This channel also has a playlist of videos dedicated to livestreaming DJI drones on other platforms (YouTube, Facebook, etc)

Livestream to Instagram from a DJI Drone - SOLVED!

Need to remember that just because you have a full phone and data signal, doesn't mean you'll have a good or fast internet connection, all depends on the area, what's around you and how many others are on the networks' connection and if they're restricting or throttling their network at the time. It's similar down where I live, in some places I have full signal but the internet is extremely slow or doesn't work yet I can be in a 1 bar area and stream fine.
Maybe try a different phone network? Grab a PAYG on a different network and see if it's just "3" being restrictive. Where I am "3" claim full 5g signal yet on a speed test I get around 1-2mb down and 0.5 up and that's on full signal outside, yet EE gives me 150 down and 80 up on the same place.

I use a free vps on oracle to constantly stream a looping mp4 with ffmpeg to my youtube stream key.

When I turn on my controller and connect it to my vpn I can just rtmp:// over that ffmpeg loop and stream to youtube this way.

That‘s how I work around the 50 subscriber limit, youtube will terminate the live stream if you don‘t continuisly stream data to it.
Thats probably why you can‘t stream out in the field, you‘d need to start a new stream.

Just an opinion double check RTMP - maybe restream I don't use it yet just reading and trying to learn. One YouTube video discusses RTMP going to RTMPS requiring this restream unsage.
