You won't find much if anything in the DC No Fly Zone to fly in. If you have the app Aloft / B4UFLY (they have a web / pc based version too for plotting before going out) - it will tell you where you can and cannot fly legally with reasons and if you can get permission to fly in some zones - they'll send you a code and plug that into your drone (FlyApp) so it will fly at that location.
You'll probably have to look outside of the "Beltway" to find places to drone and not have a ton of restrictions. Sad, but those are the facts of being around DC. Many experience that same thing around huge airports / cities like in Atlanta, DFW, etc where there is a huge zone of No Fly or very restricted flying.
