I'm heading to visit relatives in Geismar, LA next week and of course bringing my MA2. Are there any local/state ordinances I need to be on the lookout for besides the general FAA rules? Thanks!

Apps like KittyHawk and others give you some of the basics - but most local laws are not going to be covered by any of them.

Try a simple Google Search of drone restrictions in "City" and see what comes up.
