Locking control settings in DJI Fly

I was flying on the coast line from a suburban backyard 30 metres above the rocks and 50 metres from the Pacific. A somewhat disturbing episode occurred when my Air S2 would not come down and I didn't enjoy the experience, although eventually it resolved but I have no real idea why or how. consequently I did some YT'ing to see what I could find. Someone suggested manually selecting the 5.8 band as it was less noisy than the 2.4, and that led me to manually attempting to select the 10MHz (?units) as well. But as soon as I land or at least shutdown the drone, on re-starting these settings are not retained. Is there a way to lock these settings when the drone shuts down? Or is it the case I have to review all the settings under the three dot menu drop down for peace of mind?
