Locking focus/gimbal on object while returning to target

Newbie here. Mavic 2 Pro with DJI Go. Can someone please tell me how to keep the target on focus while flying back to it, from up and far?

I can’t find the way after watching sever YouTube videos. Basically I want to send the Mavic out and up and filming a return where the drone will be approaching in a diagonal trayectory: forward and lower.

I don't know if this works on the M2, but I use Spotlight mode on my MP for this. Of course it is limited by distance but may work for you.

Use Litchi, works well. Here is one I got in fog. Completely autonomous. Set the way points, altitude, speed of travel, and points of interest then press go. The flight details can be saved to use again. IFR house sat 15 Bright 45 clipped.mp4
