London News - Drones BALPA interview

As predicted by many BALPA are getting their way and we (ie. Drone users) are going to suffer because of the #Morons in our community. So is it 'Exam' time, do we now need to have BEACONS fitted and who is going to be lounging at her majesties pleasure soon?
Personally i'd like drones to have a beacon, ideally ADS-B to help with deconfliction and ID.
Id got no issue with an exam and registration in principle, the large amount of immature morons that have bought the things have forced it. Provided they dont use the new rule as an excuse to massively restrict usage ON TOP of a test or charge a crazy fee i have no issue with it.
(and also then hugely increased fines for unregistered operators when caught).
