Looking for ipad mini experience

Just purchased the Mavic Pro Platinum and want to get an ipad mini to use with it. I am looking to find out which one...2,3 or 4 works best and if any special configuration is required. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

mini 4 would be the wise choice. With cellular will get you a few extra options if price is not a concern..

I'm using a mini-4 'cellular' since December and love it. I would normally need reading glasses but the 4 is just big enough to browse the menu's without glasses. (Compared to my phone)
Brightness is also brilliant.
