Looks like the RC Pro will become a stand alone mobile device.

Under the small cover on the back of the RC Pro is a compartment containing a USB-C connector and an antenna connector. Looks like 4G capability will be an add on device. Although the info from DJI would suggest not for Europe or the USA.

They said the radio/drone would have 4G functionality for sure. I remember reading about it months ago. But yes, not for the US.

I wonder if the dongle can be purchased from DJI suppliers & added as upgrade with mods to enable its use for "testing only" in EU

I would be happy to see it used as cellular data connectivity just for the RC Pro - forget the aircraft dongle.

I have been spoiled with the cellular on my iPad Mini 4 and 5. It is a pain having to fire up the hotspot all the time...
