I got my mavic yesterday. I'm using an iPhone 6+ in normal mode I keep on losing connection but if I put it into airplane mode it seems fine. I haven't even flown it yet I'm still trying to do all the updates. Is this normal

I have heard that there can be some issues with phone and/or WiFi radios and the controller that airplane mode fixes. I guessing that it might have something to do with the mavic's ability to be controlled directly by WiFi without the controller.
