Wow! I bet that had your heart racing! I was nervous just watching.

What did you do when you got into the white out? Did you climb to make sure that you were out of the trees before your 'retreated'? Were you manually flying back home rather than using the RTH?

Yes, the heart raced. I made a couple hundred meters through that frozen forest completely cut off by the fog and I regret not starting recording earlier.

I did climb some twenty meters and switched to map view to return home. Manually, as you can see. I knew where I was, I visit those places on foot in the summer, the hill slopes downward there. But it definitely was a nervous moment.
