Your highlights are very over-exposed. I don’t know if your original DNG image is over-exposed or if it was while using Lightroom. Try reducing ‘Highlights’ in Lightroom to see if it will reveal any detail in the over-exposed areas.

And too close to the main subject. Next time take more distance or take several photo's from a fixed point and stitch them together in Lightroom.

Oh yea, the colors looks more realistic and you centered the tower. Nicely done!looks a lot better now and much more realistic colors.

Cool shot! Latest edit is much better. If you want the dark areas to look brighter you can bring up the shadows a little bit. That tower is *amazing*.
If you want to think about more about composition, all the "visual weight" (things that attract your eye) are on the left, but there is nothing to balance it out on the right.
On the plus side, the amusement park makes for a good foreground.
