I bought the Air 3 as soon as it was available, moving up from a Mavic Air 2, and I've been very pleased with it. The firmware upgrades since its release have been terrific.
But! My family was taking a trip to Mexico last month, and though I tried to get Mexican government permission to bring in the Air 3, that did not work out. So I kind of panic-bought a Mini 4 Pro right before we left and I flew that around Mexico City for a week. It's an amazing piece of work. It basically does everything the Air 3 does, with all the same obstacle avoidance protections, flight modes, cruise control, etc. The Air 3's only major advantages are the second lens (which I do love) and better wind performance (which can also be important).
But holy mackerel – the Mini 4 Pro is amazingly easy to carry around a city for a week. The Air 3 looks like a beast next to it. Especially after having had time to savor all the great stuff in the Air 3, it's amazing to me that DJI was able to then pack so much of the Air 3 into 249 grams.
I'm glad I have both drones, but if I had to have only one – I really might pick the Mini 4 Pro.
