I tried my first hyper lapse with the mavic the other day, i was trying to film the sunset (which was cropped out in post by the stabilizer, will try again), when i played the video back on my pc i noticed all of the trees and bushes are out of focus? when recording the footage i first set my way points, then auto focused at the height i wanted, then set the camera to manual and set the exposure, i also put it in D-log.

As you can see in the footage it doesnt look great and its very out of focus, im going to try again but i just wanted some advice for the next time.

Thanks!

Great idea ... We are all learning by trial and error.

Keep at it. Can't wait to see your next one.

I'm also experimenting with hyperlapse.
I used single photos shot every 2 seconds. I flew with tripod mode and tried to move very gentle. With sideways movement it was ok but turns are not working so good (too shaky).

Next time I will try waypoint mode...
