M1P no RC wifi found (iphone) - need help

M1P: NO RC wifi signal found (trying to connect to iphone)

After a few days not flying the MP I decided to use it tonight to capture some night fireworks as my Spark is also in the air. I wanted to use my cellphone instead but - this AM i tried connecting via wifi (from RC to phone)
to no avail. What to do ? reset ? (it does connect to AC-RC) TIA

if you are trying to use phone only without RC you need to switch RC to Wifi, you will find the switch next to the MP sd card

Im trying to connect RC to device (not to AC) AC to RC is fine i have no issues with AC-RC connection

it looks like the SSID is not showing from the RC - OTG cable connects fine with the iphone

RC will only connect to device with a cable.

Mavic Pro or Mavic Air? Mavic pro's RC connects to your device only by cable.
