I'm aware that flying with those is stupid -
but those are charged ( as I rotate ) only 31- 32 times each .
meaning 5 $ each charge ...
all four have buldge.
27, 30 are probably still ok ( just a small buldge ) but 31 and 32 times are crap .

Surely design of those puppies is flawed
( discharge is set to 2 days )
i'm not happy with this .

( my Orignal mavic batteries are not swollen )

I think DJI should at least offer cheap replacement.
I'm very reluctant to buy new ones to be dumped after 30 charges.
That is not sustainable.

I tried. Don’t feel bad, you aren’t the only one with this issue.

Sad for your circumstance.
My first thought is that's a lot of math. Find a less expensive hobby :)
Looks to be an old study - but this hobby costs $$
And yes, of course - do submit to DJI on a chance.

pit could be the environment you fly in, is it hot there? The only time I got swollen batteries was from a flight in Singapore on a very hot day.

no - it is not neither specially hot or extremy in any other way in Sweden
( batteries stored @ 20 degrees Celsius )

I have read that swelling can also occur with otherwise good batteries if you charge them directly after using them, while they are still hot from use.

I have had to stop myself from almost doing that in the field on occasion -- even though I have 6 batteries, I know they take much longer to charge than to discharge in use, so I am tempted to put the spent one on the charger right away before flying with the next battery.

Do you recall if you have been doing that? Or do you always allow them to cool off before charging?

No - I never recharge after use. ( Only " before use" .-)
