M2E Dual firmware talk

While I'm very new to all this and live my Dual I'm shattered that it doesn't have manual camera settings or the other video settings like the M2 Pro like POI etc. Is there any talk of a firmware update ? Seems strange for the cost of the M2E that it doesn't have the same settings as the cheaper version?.

I lean to say the differences in the hardware in each are different, thus the software, and the apps that control the communication between the user and the drone. I don't know that the camera settings could be adjusted much but flight plans (POI) could
