Can anyone tell me from these Litchi flight logs why my M2E Zoom crashed when ascending at around 50ft altitude? It dropped to the ground, did not hit any obstacle. I was close to a National Seashore but I wouldn't think that geofencing caused this. The drone doesn't fly now and I'm trying to gain some insight before I give it to DJI to diagnose. I do not have DJI care; I bought this drone 2nd hand.

Normal flight from Aug 6 2025:

Crash flight from Aug 7 2025:

Your data just ends at 24.3 seconds while the drone was in stable climb.
If it fell to earth from that point, the most likely explanation is a sudden power loss.
That could be due to the battery becoming dislodged and breaking contact.

Geofencing won't ever cause a frone to fall from the air.
If you run into a geofencing boundary, it's like hitting a soft, invisible wall.
You can fly up, down and along the wall but you can't push through it.

Just as a matter of interest (...I bought this drone 2nd hand...) do you know how many cycles the battery had registered?

Pretty much the number #1 reason for mysterious power failure crashes with both the original Mavic pro and both versions of the Mavic 2 is as a result of a high-cycle battery 'gassing' to such a degree that the bottom deforms, putting enough pressure on the battery locking lugs to pop them out of the battery compartment rebates - the connector separates and the drone drops like a brick.

It's the design Achilles heel of the 'top loader' drones.

If the battery survived intact, 'bloating' is easy to spot. Put it bottom down on a tabletop and try to rock it from side to side - if it moves in a rocking horse motion, or if you can spin it around it's own central axis: the battery is swollen. When you charge it: the swelling gets worse, the same happens when it is having current drawn from it (while the drone is in flight).

Your battery bloated just enough to "pop" it out and cause a disconnection.
