TL/DR - I want to attach filters to my M2ED, are there commercial models, or has anybody made an adapter?
I started with a Mavic Pro Platinum got my 107 and quickly got into real estate work - it's a hobby that pays just enough to support itself, but occasionally I'd have a request I couldn't fill - a missing dog, scan a house for heat/AC leaks, etc where a thermal drone would be handy. I shopped around, and added an M2ED to the fleet. I've been trying to learn it, so the MPP has been parked ever since.
One feature that I miss from the MPP is the lack of available add-on filters for the M2ED - I understand that the thermal and visual cameras are housed together, and a visual filter will likely block the thermal - I never need to mix thermal and fine photography, so I think I can work with this limitation.
I have a friend with 3D printing capabilities, and I'm happy to hack this a bit - has anybody found a commercial filter that fits the M2ED, perhaps for another model from DJI? Or has anybody used a commercial filter and made a holder for this aircraft?
