It can but in FOV mode its just 4K format, the actual resolution is just 2.7K

Highly interesting. Wonder if viewing 4K vs. 2K on a 4K TV would show the same?

I don’t notice the difference on my 80’ TV.

I think people worked out quite a while ago the full FOV "4k" is pixel binning/line skipping.

Only the HQ is true 4k (and it shows. Theres a big difference in quality).

Nice one!.... My problem is that everything is different now. my TV is a Plasma with superfast refresh... seems all the new large screen TVs are LED if not projection

Yeah I haven't seen a plasma (Certainly not a 80") in about 6 years, but I am not looking either. QLED offers plused in some things and OLED in others. Guess if one was in the market you would have to balance your needs and wants....but anyway. ..4K and the M2P discussion I guess.
