Newbie here. Are there any non-OEM batteries available for the M2P? Haven't seen any anywhere. TIA
 
Not yet. I'm sure Powerextra will release something eventually.
 
Thanks for the response. Figured it may have been too recent. Aftermarket battery makers are usually pretty quick to market though.
 
Just be aware, you are trying to save a few bucks, but risk losing a $1000+ drone. I don't think DJI will honor warranty if you use 3rd party batteries. Buyer beware. Even if you decide to save a few bucks, I think you'd better wait a bit longer for reviews and for these manufacturers to work out any kinks. Those quick to bring out these fake products don't do a lot of testing of their products for reliability. We are not talking about RC cars, where if battery fails, it just stops. Drones, they fall out of the sky when the batteries fail.
 
Very true. I deal with non-OEM batteries all the time with work. Amazing how cheaply constructed some LiPo batteries are
