Nor sure if it's possible on the SC but I have the std controller and a Crystal Sky and velcroed a phone charger battery that plugs into the side of the controller.I can fly 10+batteries worth easily.About $20.

Oh yes, I have one of those too, it can charge about 4 phones before it needs charging and is small enough to keep in a pocket when out flying. I'll have to check to see if it can charge the SC at the same time that I am actually using it. If it will then that would be the perfect solution, should I ever make the mistake of flying with a low battery on the SC again. Thanks, I should have thought of that.
