New in Box Imported from Korea recently, maiden flight ( For Me ) last week in an unrestricted area with no issues, however, this past Sunday, I went into an area of airspace that required LAANC authorization ( no problem there, done it many times with the M3C ), but that darn DJI Geo Fence popped up ( due to a small airfield nearby ), I checked off all the questions in the popup, but still would not allow me to fly.

I logged onto DJI FlySafe to register my new drone as I did with my M3Cine a couple of years back, to see if this issue would clear.
Nope still there,

I am assuming since this drone is from Korea, the GeoFencing is embedded in the software, am I right ??

What am I to do to overcome this ?

I've had no problems with a Mavic 4 Pro from South Korea flying near a small airport, after checking the pop-up box.

What's the location? There may be another airspace restriction in place other than that small airport?

Ditto as MS Coast. I have always been able to acknowledge the pop-up and fly without issue. M4Pro from Korea. A few weeks ago I was flying within a mile of small untowered airfield, class G airpsace. Have you made sure your firmware is fully updated?

It is helpful to go to a site like:
UAS Sidekick
to check out if your proposed area has an issue with the authorities. See if it matches up later with your warnings. What it does not do is warn you about places that have takeoff and landing restrictions. This requires further research. Think weird HOA and State/National Park rules.

Thanks for the replies,

Near Philadelphia International on the NJ side of the River, Class B Air Space, permission to fly 300 AGL ( Air Aware LAANC )
DJI Fly Safe may be the issue here, I have to dig in a little deeper to get answers.

I believe I have the latest firmware on both the Drone and Controller, 01.00.0300 & 01.00.0400 ( RC Pro 2 ) Respectively.

back in the day we flew RC airplanes at active airports on closed runways and near a glider port. Nowadays drone pilots for the most part don't know how to fly so the FAA stepped in to restrict everyone from this happening to play it safe because anyone can fly a drone as they fly themselves with ease, etc... DeLand, Airport in Florida and near the Salem, NH glider port that's now a golf course.

Did updating your Fly Safe database fix the problem? As you probably know, DJI stopped enforcing No Fly Zones in the US several months ago, and the expected behavior is that you can fly anywhere, although you may need to acknowledge a warning first. I have a lot of experience with this: I have an FAA-issued COA that allows me to fly in an area that was within a DJI NFZ, so I had to go through the inconvenient Unlock GEO Zone process in DJI Fly every time I flew there. But that problem went away after DJI stopped enforcing NFZs. That change seems to have been implemented in the Fly Safe database, and it worked for me on both an M4P and M3P Cine.
