MA R/C won’t connect to assistant 2

My Mavic Air r/c will not, & never has been able to connect with assistant 2. Aircraft no problem. MP both r/c & aircraft. No problem. Same with M2P. No problem.
Can’t update firmware with assistant 2. MA r/c. No idea why.
