MA2 CE connectivity

Hi guys, I'm having my MA2 within this month, and I was kinda curious about it's connectivity when there are trees and houses around. I saw a video of MA2 drone pilot was surrounded by mid rise building on a small alley and manage to fly his drone away from the line of sight for 6000ft,. how's your experience on this one? thanks

Clear LOS is essential to good range. Any obstruction will severely reduce range, if not attenuate it completely.
