Mag Intereference and Compass Calibration

After several weeks of flying my Mavic Pro 2 without any problems or need to recalibrate, I now seen to be prompted every flight to check my App (mag interference) and calibrate my compass. I am flying from the same positions as my previous flights, any idea why now it requires all the realcalibrations.

So have you calibrated? The M2 firmware appears to include a check on whether a compass calibration has been done within the last 30 days, and if not then it prompts for a calibration. If you do the calibration successfully then it should be good for another 30 days.

I have, but perhaps I am doing it wrong and therefore it keeps reasking (although sure I did it right and away from interference).

Two suggestions:
  1. Check the compass interference value in the GO app sensors section;
  2. Pull the DAT file from your mobile device for a flight that includes a prompt to calibrate - the event log stream should indicate the reason for the prompt.
How to retrieve a V3.DAT from the tablet
