Thanks. I jumped through the hoops today, took the online test, paid my fee, and got the Operator ID and Flyer ID. Now just need to label the drone with the number and start packing. Hopefully nothing will change before I get through there. Cheers.
You don't need both to fly sub 250g here but I guess it's useful to have.Operator ID and Flyer ID.
And the drone haters will be able to download a scanner from their favourite playstore and have the precise location of your drone every time you start it up, even to update firmware in your man cave at home. I think I’ll go back to flying/crashing RC Helicopters. Who needs a camera drone when the whole world is populated with people who’ll happily put up with mobile phone photography, which unless you’re looking for it, the first you know about it is when pictures are posted on social media. Ever tried sneaking up on someone using a quad copter? Only ever happen if their deaf and the hearing aid batteries are flat!OMFG you can no longer look at the screen in flight to check the video or check before taking a picture you now need a spotter, what idiot came up with that?
How are you supposed to know the height of the drone the flight time left etc DJI have spent millions making all this data available on the screen and you now cannot look at it in flight, crazy.
Or just take 10 mins to read the regs. Easily accessible and not hard to understandi will in future get my information from him not some random post on FB,
I always head straight here:Thanks for the video @mavic3usa i will in future get my information from him not some random post on FB, i should have known better.
