Making the trackpad less sensitive.

I've read many posts about the sensitivity of the trackpad and how easy it is to open apps, etc. by mistake, which I find I do, a lot. How do you make it less sensitive to the touch to make it easier to use?

I tried the pointer speed but that did just that, not pressure sensitivity..
