Mandated National Security Risk Assessment of DJI drones

No need to wait until Dec 31 to feel the effect of misguided policies on DJI product sales in the US. Witness Mavic 4 Pro, and even Mini 4 Pro challenges. It's a mess already.

Regarding "head in sand" comments above: Maybe true for some people. But failing to post about something here is not exactly proof of inaction or denial. Posting opinions here about these kinds of things is largely preaching to the choir. I've been trying to influence government officials directly, and I encourage you all to do the same, even though I am not optimistic.
No company will come forward to do an audit,as DJI is being ignored on purpose so the ban goes through. So this is all part of a plan to get DJI and Autel banned from the US.

So you don’t think Microsoft, Tesla, Amazon will step up to audit DJI. Not even Skydio. You might be right.

The FY2025 National Defense Authorization Act requires that the audit be done by a designated national security agency. Private companies aren't involved.

Exactly I just wanted wrecker to detail which company would do the review as he seems to be a self proclaimed know-it-all.

The NDAA for 2025 requires that a national security agency review DJI by December 23rd. 2025. It's not up to any company.
