All of the common mapping apps are free to fly but charge for the processing of the images.
Most have a free intro period.
What kind of project are you wanting it for?

Try QGIS. There are many tools in this software that can make mapping life very easy. Use YouTube to get instructions on the use of QGIS. They're very helpful.
