Mav Antenna Mods

I've been reading about antenna mod kits to boost the transmission range of Mavic. The mod kits are all for the controller, nothing gets mod on the Mav itself, so how good do these really work if only one part of a two way transmit/receive system is being modified? What have been peoples results with amplified kits from maxxuav?

MaxxUAV has just came out with a new boosted system for the Mavic and it is Awesome. I have one now and love it. Get the complete kit if you're going to get one though.

How's the penetration and range compared to stock ?
