Maven Connection for iPhone

I downloaded Maven for iOS. When I open this while connected to my DJI Smart Controller via USB I can’t get Maven to recognize or connect with the drone. I see just a black screen in Maven app on phone and selecting copilot says it fails to find drone.

What am I missing here? I’m sure it is a simple setting somewhere. Everyone else seems to plug in and it works. Can’t even find a tutorial on connecting the Mavic with the app. Please help!

The Smart Controller is Android based OS and Maven is an iOS app. They are incompatible.

Maven Lite 1.0 (Android) is for Android and in Google Play store. Maven is iOS.
