Mavic 2 Pro can't connect to iPhone 11 Max Pro

I have been flying my DJI Mavic 2 Pro every few months with my iPad Mini 2 at my farm in North Dakota. I forgot my iPad in CA so am trying to connect to my iPhone 11 Max Pro with no luck. What are the correct steps to connect?

Welcome to the forum! Did you try the 'Link' button on the right side of the aircraft's fuselage? Inside the compartment there is a small button to put the bird in pairing mode.
