Mavic 2 pro controller left wheel problem?

So I had my mavic in the shelf for a while and recently pulled it out. I could have sworn that both control wheels were return to center tensioned. But my left wheel is free rolling and it makes it very difficult to co tell the pitch of the gimbal. Before I open this thing up, I want to confirm that both wheels are return to center.

Both wheels on my M2P standard controller are return-to-center, neither of them free rolling.

Broken somehow. Both wheels are limited motion and center loaded.

**** it. Well I guess it’s coming apart. Any had this happen. I’m not sending it to get repaired. I think it’s probably just a spring that’s come loose. It will take forever to come back. If anyone has fixed this before please let me know.
