Anyone know if it’s still purchasable? Or on AliExpress/ Alibaba anywhere? I can’t find them for sale anywhere and I know they were all over last year. Does anyone have a used one I could buy or any info on them?

I just finished building my own if you have questions. It gave me 44 minutes of flight time in my longest flight. It makes the drone a lot louder though with the increase of weight - sounds like it does flying in sport mode.

That's sick. Exactly what I'm trying to do. The one I'm currently making is 9000mah 4s3p and weighs around 600g. I'm definitely worried about the weight. If you got any pics I'd love to see them!

Mine uses two official batteries connected in parallel at the main and balance leads. The BMS was reprogrammed to accept the new capacity of 7700 and at that point it was ready to go. This also lets me charge it with the original charger. The original battery weights 297, so this combined one is about twice the weight.

That's rad. I heard about reprogramming the board and I bought the cp10112? Or something similar to that name it's probably not correct off Amazon. I hope it's easy. I'm going to make a few of these batteries but I'm going to wait to see if I want to make a smaller one because of weight. I've also been looking into different propellers for to help with he weight difference but it seems like there's not much to choose from. Have you noticed any issues with the motors getting to hot with the extra flight time?

Something like the cp2112 will allow you to reprogram it. I didn't notice the motors being hot after a flight, just warm which they usually are. Are you planning on replacing the entire battery with lipos or using a lipo addon pack? Since they are different chemistries you could run into trouble with different discharge rates, voltages, and internal resistances.
