Mavic 2 Pro

@Robin if you are in the UK then the M2Pro will be classed as a legacy drone from the end of 2022 and all that entails
apart from that there is no reason not to purchase one ,as the technology is tried and tested ,and apart from some battery issues with them swelling ,i would say most of the bugs have been sorted ,just be aware that at some point, the availability of spares such as batteries ,props etc will be an issue ,but that is no different to all drones in the DJI range ,as new models come online and older ones are phased out of production

Thinking of getting M2Pro.

Any reason why not ?,
pricing is good at present with smart controller.
If a 1st drone and you don't require the highest photo/video resolution I'd recommend a less expensive DJI Mini 2. Using this you'll become a proficient drone pilot. The Mavic 3 is likely to be released within 6 months and you could then upgrade to the latest and greatest.

It was a great drone when it was released, and it's a great drone now (and will still be a great drone next year).
DJI hadn't produced a Mavic to surpass it for serious camera users.
If it does what you want/need, it could be a good buy.

I bought a Mavic Pro Platinum kit six weeks ago from the classifieds here and i LOVE it! It came with 4 batteries, several sets of OEM props, a set of orange MAS props, and a complete range of other accessories... all for a great price.

IMO, a properly cared for second-hand Pro/Pro Platinum is the best deal out there these days.

edited: Duh! Sorry, I didn't notice the '2'... thought you were asking about the MP1... need... more... coffee... :-)

Coffee is always good ?

Just buy it, you will not be disappointed. I had the Mavic Pro for 2 years, sold it and bought the M2P and it has been an excellent drone. If you can get a good price on it, it will be a great drone for you and you will LOVE the SC. I bought mine (SC) used about a year and a half ago from a member on here and would never go back to a phone.
