Read the reviews on where he purchased this “new gimbal”. I have my doubts on what was actually received. The brand is questionable in my opinion.

Does not matter where he purchased this . After installing new gimbal calibration is required buddy .
I have a repair business of drones & I AM DOING THIS FROM 8-9 YEARS .

So i am not guessing anything . I tried to guide him whatever is required .

Maybe for how you do your repairs. As mentioned previously, I have changed out more than I can keep track of and NEVER had to calibrate any of them.

Sir without calibration you can't even decide whether new part is faulty or not .

Sir, the many that I have dealt with work as they should as soon as the battery is turned on. As mentioned previously, NO CALIBRATION DONE AT ALL.
If you struggle to understand the above, you are beyond my help.
