I should have mentioned that I will be using the iPad mini 5 for many other apps as well, not just for flying Mavic 2 zoom. I will be editing as well. Sorry for such a minimum amount of information on my part. Thank you. It looks like the choices are, 64GB or 256GB.
 
Go with the bigger one. It’s insane that 256 gig is as big as they will let you go. I’d have a lot more respect for apple if they would just add a gawd dam micro sd port.

You got it. iPads of course don't have different options for RAM.
 
I am using mini 5 For just flying . 64 is more than enough. I use IPad Pro for editing. You are doing both so go for large memory. Have fun
 
I just wish when people mean storage, they say storage and not memory. Memory generally means RAM.
