It's supposed to be able to be updated through the app but a good many of us get "network error" when updating the AC. No issues updating the RC though.
For AC, many of us resort to using Assistant 2 on our PCs.

Assistant 2 is the quickest way, once you get it to work!! I have used both methods and had no issues with either, using the App is slow though.

HELLO JOHN, IT'S ANDYS DRONE, I HAVE MANAGED TO DOWNLOAD THE FIRMWARE FOR MY MAVIC PRO 2 ON MY TABLET WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS, IT SEEMS TO WORK OK.
