Mavic 2Pro sudden loss of range

I have had this for several years with absolutely no problems, recently started to lose radio control response with noticeable lag even at short range. There is also a lag of 5-10 seconds when taking pictures.
I assumed that the controller was the problem so bought a new one from DJI but it has made no difference with the same problem on both.

I am losing confidence in the units control ability can anyone help?

First thing to try: manually select the alternative control frequency (5.8gHz) and take it for a test flight.

What screen device is being used? Possibly a bad cable?

A lag while taking pics is usually a sign of an almost FULL or corrupt SD Card. Look there first next would be maybe a problem with the device.

Android or iOS phone. I assume you are using the stock co troller without a LCD? If an android phone and you are using DJIgo4 there has been a lot written on this a similar issues with the latest version of the go4 software and Android OS. A friend of mine finally switched to Litchi due to this and similar issues with his google phone/android. Litchi fixed it for him.
