Mavic 3/4 Pro Alternatives

yep....I have a 4K Samsung TV and the videos I've finalized from the MP3 look awesome in 4K. Every once in a while there is a minor artifact, but generally, it just great viewing. So, when the video looks awesome in 4K, it's hard to believe that it could be noticeably more awesome from the MP4
The real differences between the Mavic 3 Pro and Mavic 4 Pro are more in the cameras, which have increased the dynamic range and low light capability. If neither of those improvements are necessary for your current type of recordings, you are unlikely to need or see any difference. I fly at dusk where the wider apertures are very helpful, especially when returning in the dark. I can fly later longer without significant loss of quality. Most of the rest are ergonomic improvements with the RC Pro 2 and 30 second deployment, where the RC and drone both turn on upon unfolding, Free Panos, and true Dynamic Home Point without repeated manual resetting.

The cameras of the Mavic 4 pro are significantly improved beyond those of the 3, achieving superior image quality.
I'm getting some particularly good images with the long telephoto, many more than I could with the Mavic 3 pro.
Here are a few examples:

That has definitely also been my experience. The 6x camera is the most significant upgrade among the three cameras.

Even my Mavic 2 still creates amazing quality video and stills.
I almost always use my Mavic 3 but I have, every once in a while, flown my Mini 3 Pro and it still generates great video

hard to justify spending over $6,000 for a drone upgrade

I don't doubt what you are saying. I'm sure the M4 camera's are better than the M3. For my needs, the camera upgrades just don't seem worth $6000 and the hassle of trying to find an M4

Indeed. If it ain't broke, don't go fixin' it! LOL!
FOMO is overrated.
I still have my Mavic 3 Pro as very capable backup bird.
