How close can you get to another drone from above or below before propwash causes instability to the other drone?

How close can you get to another drone from above or below before propwash causes instability to the other drone?

I tried from above but the other drone gets very unstable and because I was probably 1 FT one to each other I was scare to crash the drones. Having a crash with those 2 drones will be an expensive mistake.
