Mavic 3 CE mode with terrible range

Hi everyone,
Just tried out my new Mavic 3 on CE for the first time and could only get around 1 km range. This was in the same location that my air 2 could manage a much much stronger signal . Anybody else experiencing the same signal problem on CE . I will try another location tonight hopefully and see what happens then but my air 2 has been flown from here ( my home ) many many times . Wish I hadn't sold it to pay for this now

CE mode in UK is dire, damp conditions on newly budding trees come Spring/Early summer spells disaster for range, 2.4Ghz and especially 5.8Ghz 100mw RF is soaked up rapid as soon as it hits any foliage.
