I did my first shoot in a gymnasium with the M3. Overall things went smoothly. I did notice that the visioning positioning system would occasionally get confused with patterns on the floor and drift unexpectedly. This created some tense moments when I was close to other objects. Definitely something to keep an eye on.

You could always try and use a launch mat in the future and just stick it under your drone. I am not sure if it would work but it could be worth a try?

You would have hoped that the M3 had other tools at its disposal for indoor flights in order to hold its position, but I must confess I do not possess a good technical understanding of the inner workings of the Mavic 3.
