Mavic 3 Pro - Still an Exciting Drone

You should, but you keep coming back letting us know all the imaginary and very trivial faults of the drone you've never flown.

You say that like you think it's a bad thing.
And you keep coming back at me with your unsubstantiated statements. And when you run out of rational arguments you descend into personal attacks.
As for jpegs, with your 40+ years of experience you would no doubt know if shooting JPEG is really the best way to utilise full potential of your cameras. Perhaps 40 years was not enough to reach that level of knowledge in your case. Aah well, to each their own.

Unsubstantiated !!?
I'm not the one making claims about a drone that I've never flown.

Isn't that what you were attempting with your snarky .. keep shooting jpg comment ?

I'm not trying to "utilise full potential of your cameras" in any sense that you'd understand.
I'm shooting fast moving subjects in variable lighting conditions and often in high winds.
To do that I have to bracket my shots and if I was to shoot dng, I would have to deal with an unacceptable time delay waiting for the files to write.
And despite shooting jpg files, I still manage to get images that are more than acceptable.

This might come as revelation to you but if you were shooting DNG you would like not need to bracket at all because one single DNG file has much greater dynamic range than the jpegs you are so proudly shooting. DNG offer much greater flexibility in post so you would not need to worry about nailing WB and to certain exctent exposure as the amount of data in deep shadows and bright highlights is simply unmatched by any jpeg so nailing exposure is not as critical as it is when shooting jpeg. I would expect this to be known by any even half serious photographer let alone by someone with over 40 years of experience. Anyway, you have demonstrated to me quite convincingly by now who I have been dealing with all along. This was my last free though unsolicited advice to you. No more time wasting from me!! Good bye and happy jpeg (or maybe one day dng) shooting!!!

Thank you, I won't miss your snarky pompous comments at all.

The M3 Cine amazes me and it still suits my needs since it's introduction and at this point in time there is no justification in my mind to buy the M3P nor the M4P. The only thing that I am concerned with is the availability of parts here in the USA should I require a repair :(
